sports medicine

Living a healthier lifestyle involves becoming active and incorporating an exercise regimen into your daily routine. Any physical activity comes with a risk of injury. Sports medicine focuses on helping people improve their athletic performance, recover from injury and prevent future injuries and is not just specific to athletes.

The Kenkou Group works provide treatment to high school, college, and professional athletes - as well as individuals who participate in sports for fun or want to achieve better results from their exercise program. Our Clinical Specialists treat patients who suffer from injuries and want to regain full functionality and those who have disabilities and want to increase their mobility and capabilities. When dealing with injuries, we prefer treating our clients by using a non-surgical and holistic approach first and only recommending surgery unless it's absolutely necessary.

If you have already begun your rehabilitation program, don't worry, with The Kenkou Group you are not obligated to abandon your current medical team - we believe in continuity of care and are more than willing to work with your current orthopedic surgeon and hospital of choice to ensure a smooth rehabilitation period.

Clients of The Kenkou Group can also take advantage of our pre/post-operative in-home skilled nursing services, nutritionists, physical therapists and trainers.
